Country Fried Steak on a Skillet with Sausage Gravy
My mouth is watering as I write this! If you have a hankering for country fried steak then THIS is the one you need to have. The steak was tender, crispy and flavorful and the country sausage gravy was perfection. My favorite bite involves cutting off a crispy steak edge and then dredging it through that sage-y gravy goodness until my fork can hold no more. Pure perfection.
Pan-seared Wild Alaskan Salmon
During our first visit, the four of us each ordered something different - my choice was the salmon with rice and mixed vegetables. While everyone raved about their meal, I thought mine definitely won the prize! The salmon was cooked beautifully - not dry and overdone which is so common, it was moist and full of flavor. The veggie assortment was good, primarily zucchini with broccoli, carrots and brussel sprouts, all in bite sized pieces and very tasty. The rice? Again, perfection. Seasoned very well, fluffy, and was really good on its own or in a bite with the salmon or a vegetable. We had a great time, the service was friendly and helpful without being overbearing and the prices are definitely reasonable. I can definitely recommend this new neighborhood bistro!
Farm-fresh Egg
Delicious! Generous portion. Eggs were yummy and loved the hash browns. Served with toast and sausage. My partner enjoyed his eggs Benedict. Happy they are in the neighborhood and serve all day breakfast. And excellent service!
Brioche French Toast
This tasty dish was amazingly good! So very tasty and with the butter, powdered sugar and "real" maple syrup it was hard to not finish.. The portion was large, so 2 slices came home with me. The atmosphere was really nice, clean and inviting. I will return to try more of their wide variety of dishes.
Ribeye Steak (12 Oz)
So happy to have them in the neighborhood! Great vibes and tasty food!
The Cascadia Ridge Cobb
This was the best Cobb salad I've ever had - it had salmon! And generous amounts of all the meats cheeses and extras. Also has an amazing French Pinot Noir! Can't wait to try more - planning to bring friends and family to this. Ew neighborhood gem!
Skillet Brownie
The skillet brownie sundae was absolutely delightful! The brownie was chewy, fresh, and served warm, perfectly paired with creamy vanilla ice cream. It felt like the perfect treat for any occasion---or any mood. A wonderfully made dessert that truly hit the spot.
The Forager's Bowl
A very tasty combination of lentils, grains and vegetables. I added grilled chicken only because I hadn't eaten lunch. I'll definitely order it again.
The Rustic Harvest Skillet
Fantastic! The paneer was a nice texture and taste, I loved the seasoning on the top as well as the veggies. I could tell everything was freshly made and the rice and yogurt sides were a lovely touch.
